This guide is made by my friend Logan, from an another forum. (His TDP4 name is Hematology, he didn't want to post the guide, so he allowed me to do it).
Always update health, it allows you to take more bullets. Occasionally throw in some defense; for every three health updated update defense by one.
After a while you may want to put on some strength and accuracy. (allows you to use the Assault Rifles later on).
Well, first update your strength x2 for the Benelli shotgun later on, but that's another section.Weapons:
Once started, buy the Colt. This is a small gun but helps pick out those pesky players. Plus with your updated health you're pretty much immune to their bullets.
Skip the micros like the Uzi and the MP5.
After that (implying you have the money) buy the Benelli shotgun (Or just if you do many tourneys you can buy the 9A-91 sub machine gun) at around level 5. This has a bigger clip than the Winchester and shoots x2 as fast. Theres almost no damage difference besides about 10.
Then buy the AK-47 or the Jackhammer. (Great damage and short reload time).
Then buy the AUG (skip the M16 since it's about the same as the AK damage-wise)
After you have the AUG, save up money for the M16. It's a perfect back-up weapon for when the AUG is out of ammo and you're in a jam.
After the assault rifles are all done go straight for the Heavy Machineguns.
Buy the M249 SAW, skip the RPD and M60E4. It has smaller ammo but makes up for it by having large damage.
After that go for Plasma guns, buy the Laser LGM. You can get the weaker one since not that many people can match its damage in the first place.
AFTER THATTTT go for the M202A2, the best rocket launcher. It has great strength and a fast reload time.
For a bonus you can buy the Dragonuv Sniper Rifle or the Barret.
After you get all of the above weapons you can get the PG mark 1 laser, it is really good for short range.Artifacts:
Buy artifacts for defense mainly, then work on the secondary stats like luck. Luck allows you to achieve random crits on other players.Gameplay:
C is your favorite hotkey in this game, crouching allows you to dodge most of the bullets coming your way.
When they're aiming for your head crouch, if they're shooting at you while crouching move backwards (while crouching) and then move forward.
If you're standing up jump backwards a lot. It confuses the other player and he aims where you're at, not where you're going.
Try not to camp, no one likes a camper.
There's several places in the game you can hide, but go there for maybe one or two kills and move on.
Always combat players somewhat below your level up to 3 above your level. Players above your level usually have updated health and better weapons that you may not be able to match.
So, if you want to thank someone for the guide, thank Hematology, and not me, the only thing i did is copy pasted it.
Anyways, i hope some tips helped you, and enjoy playing TDP4.
